"Networking Social Recap"

On Friday, January 25, 2008 PCF hosted its first monthly Social Networking Event:

“PCF: Philadelphia’s New Year’s Resolution”

In attendance were guests from the Philadelphia School District, State Representative Rosita Youngblood’s office, teachers, registered nurses and others.

All gathered for an evening of great food and conversation.  The topics discussed included how to get parents more involved in their children’s education and how to provide the much needed resources to the residents of Philadelphia.

This was PCF’s first step towards realizing its vision to create a citywide network of caring adults.

During the event, a Philadelphia Trivia sheet was passed around to see how much attendee’s know about the social, economic and educational status in the city.  Below you will find the questions that were asked.  Check out next month’s newsletter to see how may questions you answered correctly.  The answers might surprise you!
