Position Description The Franklin Institute is looking for science enthusiasts to volunteer within its various exhibits and demonstration carts, educating the public by explaining science concepts, answering questions and doing demonstrations.  Training is provided. Volunteers are asked to commit to weekly or bi-weekly volunteering for four-hour shifts.
Qualifications Interested Applicants should enjoy working with people of all ages and have an interest in promoting science education. Volunteers should be comfortable with public speaking. Individuals with a background in science or education are encouraged to apply but all interested in learning and helping others are welcome to apply, as training is included.
