Roofers are trained in a 4 year on the job training on roof installing and removing of roofs on building and other structures to make them waterproof or weatherproof. Work is done outdoor in all kinds of weather unless severe and the roofer will do a great deal of climbing. Benefits to this program earn top wages as a full journeyman and receive Health insurance, pension, vacation, and annuity funds. You must be at least 18 years of, high school graduate or GED, and have a valid driver’s license.
