The College offers GED PREPARATION CLASSES to help prepare you for the battery of General Educational Development (GED) Tests. Classes are available at the Main Campus, the Regional Centers and at various neighborhood locations. Each class starts with an assessment of your skills so that you may start at a level that suits your skills. Before the end of the class, you will take the Official GED Practice Tests to help determine your readiness for the actual GED Tests. You may only register for a GED preparation class twice without taking the actual GED Tests. Otherwise, you must show proof that you did not pass the GED Tests in order to take more classes.
The program fee is $70 per student, which is waived for those who are unemployed or on public assistance. You must be at least 18 years of age and not enrolled in high school. Students must buy their own textbooks. You must make your own GED Tests appointment. For GED Testing information call: 215-751-8006
