"PEC is the only shelter in the City of Philadelphia licensed to accept unaccompanied teens and teens with children. PEC offers a specialized teen-only education and recreation program for young adults ages 13-18."

"Teens engage in a full curriculum of workshops and activities to promote personal growth and wellness. These include self-esteem, informal discussion sessions, arts & crafts, HIV/AIDS prevention, nutrition, homework & tutoring, life skills, substance abuse prevention, and reproductive & sexual health education. Teens also take educational, cultural and recreational trips in and around the City of Philadelphia."
