National Domestic Violence Hotline

"Since 1996, the National Domestic Violence Hotline has provided a vital link to safety for victims of domestic violence, their friends and family. The Hotline operates 24-hours a day, 365 days each year, answering more than 16,500 calls each month. It is accessible to people with special needs, providing translations in 140 languages and a TTY line for the Deaf, Deaf Blind and Hard of Hearing. NDVH serves as the only center in the nation with access to shelters and service providers across the United States, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. "
