Jay Cooke Leadership Academy"This program is designed to develop and enhance the leadership skills of young males between the ages of 8 and 12. The program teaches conflict resolution, the value of character, and leading by example. Participants will work with experienced men of the Nu Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and men of the community to foster positive and productive relationships."

A youth development and cultural enrichment program for African American male youths ages 6 through 18. The program has 5 goals: Increase skills among participants to resist peer pressure through leadership development and training; Increase the knowledge of participants of the negative consequences of involvement with negative behaviors such as substance abuse, violence and high-risk sexual activity; Increase awareness of cultural values and heritage; Increase awareness of careers and educational opportunities; Provide on-going support for program participants through mentoring by African American males.
